Costco announced some changes to their capacity limits as well as new store hours.
Starting on Friday April 3, the retailer will allow no more than two people per membership card inside the warehouse.
“This temporary change is for your safety and the safety of our employees and other members, and to further assist with our social distancing efforts,” the company’s website read.
Additionally all Costco stores in the U.S. will no be closed at 6:30 p.m. on weekdays.
Like many other businesses, Costco will continue to offer special shopping hours for senior citizens. From 8 a.m. to 9 a.m on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, Costco stores will be open exclusively to shoppers over 60, as well as other vulnerable customers.
