Cops Called to Prevent 3,000-Person Hide-and-Seek Game in IKEA

An IKEA in Scotland was about to be the location of a 3,000-person game of hide-and-seek but the store got wind of it and shut it down.

The event was planned on Facebook. Seems dumb to make the announcement on social media, right? Well, until 2015, IKEA used to actually allow this activity in their store.

They stopped allowing people to play in their store because people started hiding in the refrigerators, under beds and inside of the big blue bags.

The store manager posted on Facebook that the event was not going to happen and the store hired more security on the day the event was planned.

Security was instructed to turn away groups of kids or kids who looked like they were not going to make a purchase.
