Bismarck Public Works Asks Residents to Bag Garbage for Pick-up
Bismarck Public Works is asking residents to refrain from putting any items other than bagged garbage out for pick up. Garbage must be bagged or it will not be picked up.
Residents can take other items like, furniture, mattresses, cardboard, etc. to the Bismarck landfill.
Landfill hours of operation are Monday – Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. For more information visit www.bismarcknd.gov/
Keep in mind, that you still need to put your garbage container out to the curb. Garbage that won’t fit inside the container needs to be bagged and set beside the container.
If your garbage is outside the garbage container and not bagged, it will not be picked up.
They are also asking residents not to put furniture, mattresses, cardboard, or any items other than bagged garbage out for pick up.
Residents can take other items to the Bismarck landfill.
