During a press conference this afternoon, Gov. Burgum announced the state of North Dakota has had its first COVID-19-related death.
A man from Cass County passed away early this morning. He was in his mid-90's and contracted the coronavirus from community spread.
The total number of confirmed cases in the state is 68.
