CDHS Bene-Pet 2020 Dinner & Auction rescheduled:

After careful consideration, the Central Dakota Humane Society has decided to postpone our annual Bene-Pet 2020 Great Catsby Gala Dinner & Auction fundraiser scheduled for Saturday, March 21, due to increasing concerns about the public health risk of COVID-19.

A new date for the event has been set for Aug. 1, 2020. Our plan is that we will be able to gather and enjoy a wonderful meal, fundraising games, and our great live and silent auctions on that date.

If you purchased tickets, they will be honored at the rescheduled event on Aug. 1. We are currently working out all the refund procedures. If you would like a refund, you can contact CDHS at 701-667-2020 or cdhsvolunteers@midco.net.

The CDHS shelter will be closing to public visitors (including volunteers) for the foreseeable future. We are making this decision based on the CDC recommendations to practice social distancing.

- If you are serious and committed to adopting a pet at this time, please call the shelter at 701-667-2020 and set up an individual appointment for a visitation.

Be assured that staff will continue caring for our shelter animals during this time.
