Prepare To Be Shook: Cardi B Just Got Very (Very) Real About Giving Birth

Cardi B was more than a bit surprised by her childbirth experience.

On Wednesday (October 17) night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, which was taped in Brooklyn, Cardi opened about what shocked her the most when she gave birth to her daughter Kulture Kiari in July. "It was totally harder [than I thought]," the "I Like It" rapper said about welcoming her baby girl. "She broke my vagina... Why nobody tells you about those things?" Cardi asked. "Nobody told me they were gonna stitch my vagina. People just be like, ‘Oh, you know, when you give birth, it’s gonna hurt.’ But nobody tells you [that]."

While Cardi's delivery didn't go exactly how she planned, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper said the pain was more than worth it to become Kulture's mom. "[Motherhood is] the best," she shared. "It’s like, 'Oh my gosh, I should have had you when I was a teenager. This is what I was missing my whole life? I love you.'"

However, Cardi admitted that managing motherhood and fame hasn't been the easiest adjustment. “There’s certain things that I want to do with my daughter. Like, I want to go to the beach with my baby, I want to take a stroll down the street with my baby. And I can’t because I don’t know who’s next to me and who has certain intentions," she explained. "I don’t wanna show my baby out to the public right now. I just want to protect her. I’m not mentally ready. So paparazzi be everywhere... So right now I gotta keep it really low key."

Nevertheless, Cardi is still looking forward to expanding her family. The "Motorsport" rapper — who asked her fans on Sunday (October 14) if they would be "mad" if she got pregnant again — confessed, "I do feel like I need a rest, but oh my God, like, the happiness that my baby brung [sic] me, it’s like, 'I could do this over and over again!'" Three or four more times to be exact, Cardi revealed.
