Kate Gosselin Targeted After Posting Picture Of Her Kids Online

The Gosselin will always be a target of social media criticism, whether they deserve it or not. Since their show, Jon and Kate Plus 8, premiered in 2007, we've seen the ugly side of what reality TV can do to your family.

It started out happy, as the family grew by six in one shot, leading to cute antics and a busy household. Jon and Kate seemed thrilled with their large family and lived a relatively normal life.

But as the kids grew up, Jon and Kate grew apart. There's many different reasons as to why the relationship fell apart. Some blamed Jon and his seemingly unenthusiastic behavior towards being a dad. Others blamed Kate, who needed constant control and berated Jon with every chance she got.

After 10 years of marriage, Jon and Kate had their divorce finalized in 2009. That doesn't mean the nastiness stopped, however. There have been continuous stories surrounding Kate's refusal to let Jon see his kids, with the police even getting involved at one point. The kids also claim they don't have a relationship with Jon, and they're fine with that.

"This year I'm going to turn 16," said Mady Gosselin. "I'm going to be learning to drive, taking the PSATs, thinking about college...so much is going on in my life. And the last thing I have time for is a toxic relationship."

The biggest blow came when Kate Gosselin sent one of her sextuplets, Collin, away from the family...without consulting Jon first.

"I have an idea where he is but I don't really know where he is," Jon told ET. "[Kate] says that Collin is in a special school for special needs kids with behavioral problems." However, Jon says he's been told otherwise by law enforcement officials, but he would not clarify what that meant.

"I mean, I ask but she doesn't tell me," Jon says about Collin's current whereabouts. "She doesn't answer any of my texts."

But now, a recent photo on social media is what's causing Kate Gosselin to receive serious backlash.
